J FM Web Design LLC is the creation of Jonathan Frederic Martin Jr.. Jon’s interest in web sites started in 1994 at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB).  In the physics building; Jon and fellow triathlete and friend Gary Wang designed and built the first UCSB Triathlon Club web site. They were both interested in the “information super highway” and fulfilling the need to have a central place where triathlon club members could find information about meetings and races. They were not sure who would see it, but soon discovered that it was an excellent way for members to communicate and lean about triathlons. This is where the Jon’s passion for building and designing web sites all started.

After graduating, Jon worked for a private stock trader and built web sites on the side for triathlon based businesses including a bike company, bike shop and a local triathlon coach. Since the creation of J FM Web Design LLC in 2000, the clientele has expanded to a broad range of non-profit organizations, professionals, artists and local and national businesses. Jon holds a Bachelors of Arts in Business Economics.  This background is the foundation for creating web sites that focus on business development, web marketing and online strategy for JFM Web Design Clients.
